Please join us to recalibrate your soil texturing skills using standardized soil samples evaluated by the URI Lab (sieve analysis) and get a refresher on soil mapping and reporting requirements. We will have updates from the NRCS, the HSG Committee regarding SSSNNE Special Publication 5 and the Board of Natural Scientist. The workshop will also include a 30-minute business meeting including election of officers, presentation of the Sid Pilgrim Award, a working lunch with time for networking and a one-hour discussion on professional ethics. A continental breakfast and bag lunch with chips and dessert will be catered by “Washington Street Cafe” of Concord. Six (6) professional CEUs including one (1) ethics CEU will be issued with certificates at the end of the meeting. There will be a “Soil Texturing Top Gun” prize and sand size charts for the first 50 registrations received.  Register by February 2.  Late registrations will not be accepted.
