2019 NH Soils Matter Conference

The 2019 Soil Matters Conference will be held on April 9th at the Audubon Center in Concord, NH.  NRCS will again be partnering with the Society of Soil Scientists of Northern New Hampshire (SSSNNE) to bring this event to you.  Six (6) DES Subsurface credit hours or Soil /Wetland contact hours (CEUs) are available and a certificate will be awarded.

The theme this year is “Forest Soils”.  Bill Leak and Scott Bailey (US Forest Service), Dave Anderson (Society for Protection of New Hampshire Forests), Mark Green (PSU) and Kyle Lombard (NH Dept of Forests & Lands) are among the key presenters.  Topics include soil & forestry research, soil microbes, forest hydrology, forest health, and ‘Dirt to Trees to Wildlife’.

There will be a $25 registration fee, which includes coffee, snacks, and lunch.  Complete the conference flyer and registration form – 2019 NH Soil Matters Conference flyer.  Please respond by March 29th.
